I've finally gotten around to adding some new 'features' that kinda make this seem like a 'normal' blog. The first new feature is the ability to add comments. Much like the blog post entry, comments still must be manually inserted (<-risque? :) via SQL. I'm working on a comment entry page that should be finished today.
I also added permalink functionality for individual posts. This way, when posts get pushed into obscurity, they can still be referenced individually. Whenever I get around to it, the RSS feed will link articles directly to the permalink. The real benefit to this is that the permalink pages will display the entry and all comments by default. I don't want to crowd the main page(s) with comments even though there probably won't be many :)
The next and most important thing I need to work on is a post entry page. This way I can get Liz to start making some posts to get some of the geek off of this site. Once I get that page up I can start generating the rss feeds. Yay!
